visible light and the liquid landscape
POOL explores the liquid landscape and the effect it has on optics and movement, as a result of its optical and physical density.
In undertaking this theme, POOL considers the interaction between light waves and the water surface, where light bends and refracts, and the movement through a fluid body as an experience of 'smooth' space.
POOL is an exhibition curated by MANY MANY as part of the Sugar Mountain festival. Contributing artists include Antuong Nguyen, Virginia Overell, Gian Manik, Joe Hamilton and MANY MANY.
